Ieri sera, su Radio Antenna 1, è stato trasmesso un nostro brano. Siamo veramente orgogliosi di ciò, considerando che Radio Antenna 1 è, per alcuni di noi, più importante di qualsiasi altra radio nazionale: negli anni della formazione, senza la programmazione di quella stazione, non avremmo educato quel “palato musicale” che abbiamo oggi. Se ascoltate le puntate di Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space capirete facilmente perché.

Le parole che Cocco ha speso nei confronti della nostra musica, inoltre, sono state ben oltre qualsiasi nostra aspettativa.

Last night, one of our songs was played on Radio Antenna 1. We are truly proud of this, considering that for some of us, Radio Antenna 1 is more important than any other national radio station. During our formative years, without the programming of that station, we would not have developed the musical taste that we have today. If you listen to episodes of Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space, you will easily understand why.

Moreover, the words that Cocco spent on our music were beyond our expectations.

Siamo dei cretini, è ufficiale. Tra i vari social e servizi di streaming e storage di musica, ci siamo dimenticati per 5 anni di Bandcamp. Perché? Non ne abbiamo idea. Forse ci sembrava già più che sufficiente gestire sito, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Spotify…

Comunque sia, ora abbiamo rimediato: siamo anche lì con la nostra pagina. Mettete un bel “follow”, se vi va. Oppure prendete il telefono di qualche conoscente e mettete il follow con il suo account.

We’re idiots, it’s official. Among the various social networks and music streaming and storage services, we forgot Bandcamp for 5 years. Why? We have no idea. Maybe, it was more than enough to manage the site, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Spotify…

Il tempismo è tutto nostro. Lo sviluppo delle frequenze delle nostre esistenze ci ha condotti qui con Davide che ci offre l’occasione di marcare il nostro percorso di vita con un segno prezioso. L’immagine del nostro pensiero tradotto in musica e rumore, materia, vibrazione. Registriamo finalmente quattro brani che si sono evoluti negli scorsi quattro anni di momenti condivisi, intrecci di vita, di storie, desideri e prospettive. Difficile dire se siamo in ritardo o in anticipo – ognuno ha una sua tabella di marcia interiore con cui prendersela -, speriamo di essere nel presente, vivi nel qui ed ora.

Ci vediamo domani dal vivo! Saremo presenti alla Festa Resistente Antifascista di Carpi assieme ai Gres: trovate qui tutto il programma.

The timing is all ours. The development of the frequencies of our lives has led us here with Davide who offers us the chance to mark our life path with a precious sign. The image of our thought translated into music and noise, matter, vibration. We finally record four songs that have evolved over the past four years of shared moments, intertwining of life, stories, desires and perspectives. Difficult to say if we are late or early – everyone has their own internal roadmap to pick on -, we hope to be in the present, living here and now.

Live al Centrale66, un regalo (per noi)

Le cose sono andate così. I Baffodoro, con cui avevamo già suonato prima che iniziasse tutto lo stop a causa della pandemia, ci contattano lunedì: “venite a suonare con noi venerdì a Modena? Purtroppo i Rev Rev Rev non riescono a essere presenti”. Non suoniamo dal vivo da un sacco di tempo, ci stiamo impegnando in sala prove per arrivare al meglio alla prossima registrazione del nostro secondo EP.

Che facciamo?
Certo che andiamo!

E abbiamo fatto benissimo. Ci teniamo a ringraziare tutti i ragazzi del Centrale66, un locale speciale nel centro di Modena dove trovare musica dal vivo; ringraziamo i Baffodoro che hanno pensato a noi (siamo fratelli separati alla nascita); e ringraziamo i Rev Rev Rev per essere venuti a sentirci, nonostante tutto (ci stiamo ascoltando in loop la loro discografia).

That’s what happened. Baffodoro, with whom we had already played before the stop due to the pandemic began, contacted us on Monday: “come and play with us on Friday in Modena? Unfortunately Rev Rev Rev can’t play”. We haven’t played live in a long time, we are working hard in the rehearsal room to get the best out of the next recording of our second EP.

What are we doing?
Sure we go!

And we did very well. We would like to thank all the guys of Centrale66, a special venue in the center of Modena where you can find live music; we thank the Baffodoro who thought of us (we are brothers separated at birth); and we thank Rev Rev Rev for coming to hear us, despite everything (we are listening to their discography in loop).
