Serve un grande ringraziamento per gli organizzatori della Festa de L’Unità e del Concentrico Festival per averci invitato sui rispettivi palchi. Sono stati due eventi molto divertenti, dove ci siamo sentiti completamente liberi nelle nostre performance. E un altro immenso ringraziamento a tutti gli amici, vecchi e nuovi, presenti sotto ai palchi. Il calore, l’entusiasmo, le vibrazioni che percepiamo durante i live sono fondamentali per la vita stessa dei nostri brani e dei nostri suoni.
Mattia Medici ha curato le splendide foto che hanno immortalato alcuni momenti del concerto al Parco della Cappuccina (non ci abitueremo mai a certi scatti), mentre Giuseppe Tinnirello è riuscito a trovare luci e colori dove noi vedevamo solo neon.
A big thank you goes out to the organizers of the Festa de L’Unità and Concentrico Festival for inviting us to their respective stages. It was two incredibly enjoyable events where we felt completely free in our performances.
Another immense thank you goes to all the friends, old and new, who were present below the stages. The warmth, enthusiasm, and vibrations we feel during our live shows are essential to the very life of our songs and sounds.
Mattia Medici took care of the splendid photos that captured some moments of the concert at Parco della Cappuccina (we will never get used to such shots), while Giuseppe Tinnirello found lights and colors where we saw neon only.

In addition to the June 9th live at the Festa de L’Unità in Fossoli di Carpi, there is another opportunity for a live performance to be discovered: we will be playing, as the sun sets, at the Parco della Cappuccina in Carpi, where the Concentrico Festival takes place. We are thrilled to be part of this splendid artistic showcase, featuring theater, avant-garde music, circus arts, and visual arts, which for the third consecutive year will bring a wave of unmissable performances to the province of Modena. La vita è fatta di incontri e di scelte, di incontri scelti e scelte di incontro. Conoscere l’artista per mezzo della sua opera e conoscere l’artista in carne e ossa, voce, respiro, abbracci, sorrisi, sguardi sono esperienza molto diverse.
Incontrare Marco è stato diverso. È stato sorprendente sorprendersi, stupendo stupirsi di qualcosa di così naturale: attraversare le dimensioni tempo e spazio e tuffarsi nella relazione è di più, è oltre tutto ciò che la nostra mente sia in grado di architettare a partire da brandelli di informazione trascritti sulle piattaforme audio-video. Oggi è avanguardia. C’è dell’imprevisto, ma atteso, sperato, ricercato: movimenti in cui convivono padronanza e abbandono, senza protezione, come nella vera avanguardia. Siete pronti ad accogliere l’indicibile? Ci abbiamo girato intorno con tante parole, ma di quello si tratta. Ci siamo interrogati sulla identità musicale del nostro progetto e abbiamo lasciato una finestra aperta su quella di due di noi (Manu e Pietro). Da quella finestra abbiamo osservato la nostra generazione e anche le altre, tutte (?) alla ricerca di senso e di identità non solo musicale.
Ci siamo chiesti: chi può insegnarci a cavalcare lo spirito del tempo? Come la musica ci coinvolge, ci muove e commuove fregandosene delle diversità che pure esistono tra noi? In questo podcast ci sono dichiarazioni d’amore: i deboli di cuore sono invitati speciali, chi ha le difese basse capirà meglio di tutti, chi come i bambini sa ancora stupirsi entrerà con noi in sintonia. Niente di quello che sentirete è stato preparato né coreografato: abbiamo vissuto qualche ora così, a nervi scoperti per lasciarci attraversare dalla corrente, rispondere alle frequenze. Diapason umani.

Life is made up of encounters and choices, chosen encounters and encounter choices. Getting to know the artist through his work and getting to know the artist in the flesh, voice, breath, hugs, smiles, looks are very different experiences.
Meeting Marco was different. It was surprising to be surprised, stupendous to be amazed by something so natural: to cross the dimensions of time and space and dive into relationship is something more, it is beyond anything our minds are capable of architecting from scraps of information transcribed on audio-video platforms. Meeting people today is the avant-garde. There is unforeseen, but expected, hoped for, sought after: movements in which mastery and abandonment coexist, unprotected, as in the true avant-garde. Are you ready to welcome the unspeakable? We’ve gone around it in so many words, but that’s what it’s all about. We wondered about the musical identity of our project and left a window open to that of two of us (Manu and Pietro). From that window we observed our generation and also the others, all (?) searching for meaning and identity not only musically. We asked ourselves: who can teach us how to ride the spirit of the times? How does music engage us, move us and move us by giving a damn about the diversity that also exists among us? There are declarations of love in this podcast: the faint-hearted are special guests, those with low defenses will understand better than anyone, those who like children still know how to be amazed will connect with us. Nothing you will hear has been prepared or choreographed: we have lived a few hours like this, with exposed nerves to let the current flow through us, responding to the frequencies. Abbiamo ritrovato una scheda SD che pensavamo persa. Nella scheda SD era presente una ripresa di un brano suonato al concerto al Circolo Mattatoyo dell’11 febbraio, Dergadance, la course des enfants. Un video degno di un bootleg dei primi anni ’90. E, come ogni bootleg che si rispetti, gira con il passaparola…
We have found an SD card that we thought was lost. The SD card contained a recording of a piece played at the concert at the Circolo Mattatoyo on February 11, Dergadance, la course des enfants. A video worthy of an early 90s bootleg. And, like any self-respecting bootleg, it spreads by word of mouth.
