39 anni fa. Un’esplosione, 10.25 del mattino, stazione di Bologna.

Stazione affollata.

I fascisti decidono di colpire la “rossa” Bologna, in uno spazio che aggrega mondi che lì si incrociano per pochi istanti o per tutta la vita.

Il fascismo non se n’è mai andato dall’Italia, Paese che lo ha concepito e cresciuto e esportato. Oggi, a distanza di 39 anni, dobbiamo ricordarci cosa è il fascismo. Che lutti e distruzione porta.

Il fascismo è oggi più vivo che mai, alimentato ogni giorno da vomiti di odio e incompetenza.

Siamo antifascisti. Lo urliamo, lo suoniamo ad ogni giro della Terra su se stessa.

Siamo con i poveri, con i diseredati, con i fragili per sognare e costruire un mondo migliore.

Siamo dalla giusta parte. E ne siamo fieri.

39 years ago. An explosion, 10.25 am, Bologna train station.

The station was packed.

The fascists decide to hit the “red” Bologna, in a space where a multitude of worlds constantly bump into each other, some for just few fleeting instants, others to stick around for the rest of their lives.

Fascism never left Italy, the country that conceived it, nurtured it and exported it. Today, 39 years after, we must all remember what fascism is. The trail of bereavement and destruction that follows its passage.

Today fascism is more alive than ever, feeding up daily on bursts of hatred and incompetence.

We are Antifascists. We scream it, we beat this drum incessantly at every full turn of the Earth.

We are with the poor, the marginalized, the fragile people, to dream and build a better world.

We are on the right side. And we are proud of it.

Rock in Rolo is one of the most important summer festival of independent music in Emilia-Romagna.

Negli ultimi giorni, nella nostra città, è successa una cosa particolare: sul settimanale dei preti è comparso un articolo d’opinione firmato dal responsabile della rivista.

I Radar 5:11 (Stefano, Marco, Jacopo, Pietro ed Emanuele), VOGLIONO prendere le distanze da quanto riportato nell’editoriale, in quanto non si sentono minimamente rappresentati da quanto espresso. Ancora prima di dichiarare qualsiasi appartenenza politica o orientamento religioso, crediamo che le notizie espresse tramite i media, specialmente quando questi rappresentano terze parti (in questo caso l’intera comunità diocesana) debbano essere vere e rappresentative delle parti interessate: derubricare le morti nel Mediterraneo, aumentare falsamente il senso di insicurezza, appoggiare la cittadinanza armata… diffondere notizie manipolate per un vantaggio elettorale è qualcosa di inaccettabile.

Per l’espressione di pareri personali, siano essi più o meno condivisi e condivisibili, esistono altri canali.

Noi suoniamo per l’accoglienza, l’ecologismo razionale, per i diritti dei più deboli. Chi ritiene questi valori negoziabili, può andare allegramente a farsi fottere.

In recent days, something unusual happened in our city: an opinion article signed by the editor-in-chief appeared in the weekly publication of the priests.

The Radar 5:11 band members (Stefano, Marco, Jacopo, Pietro, and Emanuele) WANT to distance themselves from the views expressed in the editorial, as they do not feel in the slightest represented by its content. Even before declaring any political affiliation or religious orientation, we believe that news expressed through the media, especially when representing third parties (in this case, the entire diocesan community), should be true and representative of the parties involved: downplaying deaths in the Mediterranean, falsely amplifying the sense of insecurity, endorsing armed citizenship… spreading manipulated news for electoral advantage is unacceptable.

There are other channels for expressing personal opinions, whether they are more or less shared or debatable.

We play for inclusivity, rational environmentalism, and the rights of the most vulnerable. Those who consider these values negotiable can happily go screw themselves.
